Firefighters called to small heath blaze in Swanage
FIREFIGHTERS are this afternoon dealing with a blaze on Rempstone Heath, Swanage.
Crews are making "good progress" with the fire, which is affecting an area of heathland.
A spokesperson from the Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said a number of vehicles are in attendance, including two fire engines, a Land Rover and a Unimog.
"Good progress is being made," she said.
"Two hose reel jets are in use, and crews are still at the scene."
