A POOLE councillor is appealing for help to identify a repeat toilet vandal in Poole.

The latest attack put two toilets out of action with expanding foam.

One of the cubicles targeted, the disabled toilet at Baiter Park, was also hit last November, when concrete was poured down the pan.

In that attack two toilets at Constitution Hill were also vandalised.

Now the gents at the Watch Station on Poole Quay has also been filled with expanding foam.

Both acts took place between 6pm on February 4 and 8am on February 5.

Borough of Poole spent £2,300 putting right the damage last time and is currently investigating how far the foam has gone into the pipework.

“It is so disappointing that a mindless act of vandalism is once again inconveniencing the local community,” said Cllr Xena Dion, cabinet portfolio holder for a prosperous and sustainable Poole.

“I would urge anyone with information to contact the police as soon as possible.”

“Borough of Poole only has a limited budget to cover 26 public toilets in Poole, and it is incredibly frustrating to have to use this to repair this malicious and intentional vandalism.
