NORTH DORSET: A fire crew from Sturminster Newton was sent to a chimney fire at a property in Child Okeford on Tuesday evening.

BOURNEMOUTH: A bin fire was extinguished by firefighters in Charminster on Tuesday.

Crews from Springbourne and Redhill were called to Wellington Road at 6.51pm.

POOLE: A male driver from Brockenhurst was taken to Poole Hospital suffering from back pain after a collision in Longmeadow Lane in Creekmoor on Tuesday.

His black Ford Focus was in collision with a black BMW 318, registered to a man from Coventry at 4.30pm, at the junction with Woodpecker Drive.

CHRISTCHURCH: A 33-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged robbery at a pharmacy in Mudeford. Police were called to Wessex Pharmacies just after 9am on Friday, following reports a man had entered the pharmacy demanding medicines.

A spokesman from Dorset Police said a 33-year-old has been arrested in connection with the incident and is helping police with their enquiries.

COLEHILL: Police are searching for two men who attempted to steal two gates from a field in Colehill Lane at around 3pm on Monday.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: “A possible vehicle involved was a very large tractor with a distinctive yellow hedge cutter as well as a red and black loader on the front.”

BLANDFORD: A young male was seen opening the rear porch door of a house in Salisbury Road at 6.50pm on Sunday before being scared away by the homeowner’s dog.

He was seen to jump the garden gate before heading in the direction of Preetz Way.

BOURNEMOUTH: Police are appealing for information after a disc cutter was stolen from a garage in Muscliffe Lane between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday, February 3. Anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to call Dorset Police on 101, quoting crime number 004959.

NORTH DORSET: A parked vehicle was damaged at Barn Close, Sturminster Newton, between 6pm on Saturday, January 31, and 12.50pm on Sunday, February 1. Anyone with information is asked to call Dorset Police on 101.

BOURNEMOUTH: Police are urging motorists to keep valuables out of sight after sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle parked on Berkeley Road at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, February 2.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to call Dorset Police on 101.

EAST DORSET: Firefighters were called to reports of a trailer going up in flames on Holt Heath at around 5pm on Tuesday. On arrival, the crew from Ferndown found an unattended trailer from a controlled burn alight with embers blowing across the heath. The fire was extinguished by 7.30pm.

IFORD: Police have appealed for information after designer items were stolen during a burglary in Iford Lane.

A Louis Vuitton handbag, Mulberry purse and Prada sunglasses were among items taken on Thursday, January 22, when a rear door was forced.
