Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in a shop and have released CCTV images of the suspect being released.
The incident, in which a 22-year-old woman was assaulted, took place between 6.15pm and 6.25pm on Friday 7 November 2014 in the McColls shop in Adastral Square, Canford Heath.
A male offender grabbed hold of the woman, who was queuing behind him at the till, before swinging his fist past her face and missed her narrowly.
The suspect was with a large dog which had a light brown body and white head and legs.
Police Constable James Curtis, of Poole police, said: “Following enquiries, I am now able to release a CCTV image of a man who we believe can help with this investigation.
“I would like to ask anyone who recognises the man, or witnessed the incident, to call Dorset Police, in confidence.”
