A WOMAN was cut free from her car this evening following a crash in Bournemouth.
Emergency services were called to Charminster Road at 8.38pm following reports of a collision between a Honda Civic and Toyota Prius.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire Control said firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of one of the vehicles in order to gain access to an injured woman.
Dorset Police closed the road while the fire crews worked before the casualty was examined by paramedics.
A spokesman for the force said the woman had sustained slight injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
