DISABILITY charity Diverse Abilities is looking for 60 daring individuals to take up a skydive challenge to mark a special anniversary.

The organisation, which is marking its diamond year in 2015, is organising a number of special fundraisers throughout the year to celebrate the landmark.

Anyone with a head for heights is urged to take up the challenge to help raise money for the charity, which supports more than 600 adults and children across Dorset.

Participants will be skydiving 10,000 feet attached to a professional skydiver from the Wiltshire airfield’s flight team, who have been recognised as one of the best skydiving teams in the country.

Diverse Abilities events fundraiser Sharon Wells said: “Many people say that skydiving is something they would love to try and this is a great opportunity to have a go and celebrate our 60th birthday.

“If you are a thrill-seeker looking for your next adrenaline fix or if you are looking to try something new, please get in touch.

“Our 60th anniversary is going to be very special, and we’d love for the Dorset community to be involved and take on this exciting challenge.”

When taking part in the 60 skydivers day, on June 14, the actual skydive is free, providing a minimum sponsorship of £395 is raised before the jump. A deposit of £50 is payable when upon signing up.

If you are unable to make June 14, but wish to undertake a skydive, then another date can be arranged.
