Four football fans arrested over post-match “clashes”
FOUR football fans were arrested and one charged with assault after alleged clashes between AFC Bournemouth and Cardiff City fans on Saturday.
Dorset Police confirmed they dealt with two separate incidents at the Goldsands Stadium during the match.
A 49-year-old man from Pontyclun in Wales is due to appear before Bournemouth magistrates on January 6 and another 49-year-old from Newport in Wales received a penalty notice for disorder. A 25-year-old man from Merthyr Tydfil received a caution and a 30-year-old man from Rhondda was released without charge.
