THE Studland to Sandbanks Ferry is due to resume service tomorrow, staff have confirmed.
Nick Purchase, general manager for The Bournemouth-Swanage Motor Road and Ferry Company, said that staff are still working on the ferry but they hope to have it back from 12noon on Thursday, December 18.
Road-users have been unable to use the Bramble Bush Bay service since Tuesday, November 4, due to the scheduled routine maintenance of the 48-car ferry.
It has been crossing Poole Harbour between Shell Bay in Studland and Sandbanks since 1994 and undergoes the updates and refit every two years to ensure that the company is able to continue providing the daily service.
