A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Branksome Park, Poole this morning.
The incident took place on The Avenue around 8.30am.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they were called shortly afterwards.
The collision was between a Suzuki motorcycle and a Jeep.
Paramedics treated the motorcyclist at the scene before taking him to Poole General Hospital.
His injuries are not thought to be serious.
The incident blocked the road and police remained on scene while an oil spill was cleared.
Traffic was diverted.
