FUNDRAISERS across Dorset will be taking part in an array of weird and wonderful events today to raise funds for this year’s BBC Children in Need Appeal.
Schools, offices, supermarkets and shops will be getting into the charitable spirit by hosting a variety of events throughout the day ahead of this evening’s live televised show.
Pupils from Kingsleigh Primary School will be battling it out in a talent competition, staff at the LV call centre will be taking donations over the phones and teachers at Sixpenny Handley First School will be dressing up as Chewbacca and Cinderella all in the name of Pudsey’s favourite cause.
