Three abandoned puppies found hungry, cold and subdued in East Dorset have been sent to Lincoln Farm, Margaret Green Animal Rescue’s rescue and re-homing centre for dogs near Blandford.

The three pups are thought to be Lurchers with Deerhound and Greyhound in them, all male aged 10-12 weeks and all with a playful nature.

Thankfully the puppies were found quickly before any harm could come to them.

After assessment and some much needed TLC, the puppies soon started to flourish.

It is a huge commitment to take on dogs or puppies, which the charity urges people to think about.

Helen Chittock, manager at Lincoln Farm said: “All dogs, and particularly puppies, require a huge amount of care.

“Choosing a pet is a big commitment and there are some important things to consider before making the decision to take on an animal.”

The three puppies are now, along with young and older dogs at Lincoln Farm, seeking new homes.
