St Pauls' roundabout in Bournemouth
MOTORISTS were shocked to see a man on a disability scooter travelling on the Wessex Way earlier today.
One man, who reported the incident to the police said he saw the scooter travel around St Paul’s roundabout and then onto the Wessex Way towards Ringwood.
“It was so dangerous; I couldn’t believe it. People were just looking shocked”, the driver said.
“Traffic was dodging him around the roundabout.
“He had a big grin on his face.”
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they were called at 11.47am to reports of a man on a disability scooter at St Paul’s Road roundabout, on the A338 Wessex Way.
“We were not able to find him”, the force spokesperson added.
