THREE teenagers responsible for a string of petty crimes across Bournemouth and Poole have been banned from associating with one another.

Borough of Poole’s Safer Communities Team and Dorset Police obtained anti-social behaviour orders (ASBOs) on Karan Patel, aged 19, Bodrul Miah, 19, and Sahil Baadkar, aged 17.

The court heard how the trio were abusive to residents and police officers, had committed crimes across the area – including stealing from cars and properties – and were involved in drugs.

Ian Cooke, safer communities manager, Borough of Poole, said: “This result is testament to the hard work of council and police officers who have worked together to successfully obtain ASBOs against these three young men.

“Dorset Police and the council will continue to deal robustly with individuals and groups that cause harm to our communities, and support and protect residents from those who act anti-socially or commit crime against them.”

The order bans the trio from associating with each other and a fourth man, 23-year-old Charlie Willis, in a public place in Poole or Bournemouth or at their respective homes.
