Man treated for smoke inhalation after cooking fire at flat
Fire fighters were called to St Mary’s Road in Springbourne on Sunday night after neighbours reported a burning smell.
The crews from Redhill and Springbourne attended the fire around 11pm and led a 30-year-old man to safety.
He was treated by the ambulance service for smoke inhalation.
The fire involved cooking left unattended. The grill pan was severely damaged and the flat slightly smoke damaged.
