BOURNEMOUTH residents are being warned to expect disruptions in the town centre this week while resurfacing works are carried out around Horseshoe Common.
From today until Friday, September 26, Old Christchurch Road will be closed from Lorne Park Road to the pedestrian area at 103 Old Christchurch Road. Both Dean Park Crescent and Fir Vale Road will also be closed at their junctions with Old Christchurch Road. The works are part of the final stages of a £300,000 council scheme to regenerate the area.
Ian Kalra, head of transportation services at Bournemouth Borough Council, said: “We understand that there may be some disruption as the works are nearing completion.”
