A FARM worker suffered serious head injuries after falling from the back of a moving vehicle yesterday.
The 22-year-old man was flown to hospital in Bristol for surgery following the incident, which took place on Seven Ash Road in Holnest, near Sherborne, at 3.20pm.
Dorset Police officers are now urgently asking anyone with information, or who may have seen the collision, to come forward.
A spokesperson from the force said the man fell from the rear of a moving Mitsubishi pick-up truck being driven by another man from the area as they were bringing cattle back to the farm.
“As a result, the man suffered serious head injuries,” he said.
To speak to police about the incident, call 101 and ask for PC 2464 Tatton of the Weymouth Traffic Unit.
