DORSET Police have released this picture in a bid to find a woman who cheated staff at a Ferndown supermarket.
The woman received a full refund after claiming to return a vacuum cleaner half an hour after she bought it.
But after she had left the store shocked staff discovered the box contained only garden waste.
The theft took place at Sainsbury’s in Ringwood Road between 3.45pm and 4.15pm on Tuesday August 12.
Officers are confident the woman will be recognised from the high quality CCTV image released today.
East Dorset Neighbourhood Inspector Simon Perry urged anyone who recognises the woman or has information about the offence to get in touch.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting crime number 33239. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
