RUSH-HOUR traffic is delayed on the A338 Bournemouth Spur Road due to an accident on the northbound carriageway.

The incident took place around half-a-mile north of the Blackwater junction just after 7am and traffic is currently backed up to the Cooper Dean roundabout.

Two vehicles are involved in the crash, a silver Peugeot Expert panel van registered to a company in Shaftesbury and a burgundy Vauxhall Vectra registred to an overseas address.

The car is currently on the central reservation and smoke is issuing from the vehicle.

Police and fire crews are on the scene. There are not believed to be any injuries.

Yet another accident on a simple stretch of road.
Speed was not a factor I'm guessing....
Good to hear there were no injuries.

Both vehicles in this incident/accident will weigh many times more than what they're carrying.

That's just one of the many stupid aspects of your stupid transport methods.

You stupid stupid stupids.

Finally a sensible comment. When will people realise that anti-gravity straps, or teleportation are much more sensible methods of transport. Or even a simple magic broomstick. It's a disgrace : it's like some people have never even been to Hogwarts.
