THREE crews of firefighters assisted with the recovery of a woman from a first floor room in Wareham on Saturday afternoon.
A call was made to Dorset Fire and Rescue Service just before 4.50pm with reports of the incident at West Street, leading to crews from Westbourne, Poole and Wareham attending the scene.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said that they were called at 4.08pm by a woman who informed them that she had been in a car accident yesterday and was complaining of pain and numbness in her left side.
She had to be removed from the building via a window by the fire service and was treated at the scene.
The woman did not need hospital treatment, the spokesman added.
