A MAN sought by police in connection with a huge covert drugs operation in the Boscombe area has appeared in court.
Shane Peter Smith, 25, of Haddington Road, Plymouth, was one of five people wanted in connection with Op Moped.
He was arrested by police in Plymouth yesterday before appearing before a district judge at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court this morning.
Smith is charged with seven counts of supplying a class A drug to a law enforcement officer on dates in May and June.
Speaking only to confirm his name and address at the court, the defendant - who has not yet entered a plea to any of the charges - was remanded into custody, and will next appear before a judge at Bournemouth Crown Court.
Tracey Archer, 48, of no fixed abode, has also appeared before magistrates after being taken into custody on Friday, August 8.
She has been charged with four offences of supplying a class A drug, one of being concerned with the supply of a class A drug and one of failing to surrender to the police on bail.
Officers are still searching for Adam Hamed, 20, from Liverpool, Adam Larkin, 27, from Bournemouth, and Christopher York, 23, from London.
