A man wanted by police tackling drug dealing in Dorset has been arrested.

Officers last week released images of five wanted people wanted in connection with the initiative and asked for the public’s help to track them down.

The appeal follows one of the biggest drug operations in Dorset in recent years.

In July this year, undercover officers targeted a number of addresses in Boscombe on suspicion of drug misuse and supply, with a total of 38 people being arrested and 34 charged.

Shane Peter Smith, 25, formerly of Portland and now living in Bournemouth was arrested in Plymouth last night.

He is currently in police custody.

Would do well to post a few of these photo's in local schools. might put youngsters off becoming the next victims of the drugs trade.Even better one in the Daily Mail today of the effects showing a girls mugshots after her regular arrests. Not pretty.
The only way to halt the crippling effect it's having on society seems to be to legalise it,control and possibly lower the strength over a short period. At the moment many people seem to be making millions out of peoples misery, or should I say dependence!.From personal experience just one member of a family addicted to one drug or the other, ruins the whole family with the lies, stealing etc. that seems part and parcel of addiction
