EMERGENCY gas works in Christchurch are causing delays for motorists.
Southern Gas Networks have apologised to residents for the ongoing work in Hurn Road.
They were on site on Friday carrying out emergency repairs A spokesperson said: “We’re currently working in Hurn Road, Christchurch, with the use of temporary traffic lights to ensure the safety of the public and our engineers.
“On Monday, we will return to carry out the second stage of this work. Once again, temporary traffic lights will be required. We intend to finish all our work at this location by Tuesday morning. We’d like to apologise to residents and road-users for any inconvenience our work at this location may cause.”
