Traffic troubles across Bournemouth as lorry breaks down and drainage works take place
A BROKEN down lorry caused traffic problems on the A31 Ringwood Road this morning.
The vehicle blocked one lane westbound near Azalea Roundabout, and traffic tailed back to the Ashley Heath Interchange as a result.
There were 40 minute delays heading down towards Ferndown from Ringwood.
There were also problems on Parley Lane both ways at Chapel Gate and Hurn Road near the Hillside Drive Junction as a result of drainage works close to Bournemouth Airport.
Workmen used stop-go boards to monitor the flow of traffic.
There was a great deal of congestion in the area, with traffic back to Blackwater Junction and on Fairmile Road affected.
