THE emergency services were called to Tower Park in Poole last night after a car crashed and ended up on its roof.

Police, the fire service and an ambulance crew were called to Yarrow Road, close to the Frankie and Benny's Restaurant, at 10.43pm after the Mini Cooper crashed.

The car, registered to a man from Corfe Mullen, came to rest on its roof and also lost a wheel.

The road was closed while the scene was dealt with and it was cleared by 12.55am.

A Dorset Police spokesman said that nobody was injured in the crash.

Some people have a passion for the arts, some for the outdoors... believe it or not, some people have a passion for cars.
