THE Twin Sails Bridge is fully operational again after contractors investigated a 'minor issue' this afternoon.
The bridge was stuck part way open causing problems for both traffic and boats.
The council urged drivers to use Poole Bridge if possible to travel between Hamworthy and the town centre, to allow them to test the system.
A Borough of Poole spokesperson said they would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to road-users.
The next scheduled lift is 7.30pm this evening.
