I remember an operation like this on Bournemouth beach back in 1970 .

I remember a more recent hash up when the sand brought in for beach replenishment was full of rocks and rubble,and it all had to be graded off and removed.

Hope they are not going to sacrifice our beaches again. We still have rough pebbles damaging little feet both on the beach and at the waters edge. Our beaches were the best. Let's continue the restoration not cause further problems.
