AS temperatures soar Poole Tourism is inviting people to make the most of sizzling summer evenings and dance the night away at Summer Breeze on Poole Quay.

Bruce Grant-Braham, Poole Tourism Partnership chairman, said: “Summer Breeze is made for this kind of weather. The fantastic live music and entertainment create a wonderful atmosphere and the location is second to none – it’s the perfect way to celebrate summer.”

The weekly Thursday evening fun, sponsored by Breeze Volkswagen, continues this week with live music all night long from young local singer/songwriter Karl Lattimer, The Usual Suspects and rockabilly trio, Rockin’ the Joint.

As part of Wave 105’s Summertime in the South, the evening’s mix of live music, entertainment and family fun will give budding performers the opportunity to brush up on circus skills at Jamie Jigsaw’s Circus Workshop.

There will be top tips from the expert from juggling and plate spinning to diabolo and ribbon twirling, something for all ages and abilities.

Youngsters will have the chance to exercise their creative skills with the pavement artist, try out the bouncy castle and climbing wall or be amazed by street artists, balloon modellers, jugglers and street magician.

John Corderoy, managing director of Breeze Volkswagen, said: “Since we began supporting Summer Breeze in 2004 it has been wonderful to see it grow and become such a key part of Poole’s summer events. Last Thursday the crowds were fantastic and each week just gets bigger and better.”

The evening starts at 7pm and ends with a fabulous firework display over the harbour at 10pm.
