COASTGUARDS were kept busy as thousands of people took to the water over the hot and sunny weekend.
A diver suffering from decompression sickness was airlifted from a dive boat off Durlston Head in Swanage Bay and taken to a Recompression Chamber for treatment at 12.30pm on Sunday.
Several boats suffered engine failure and safety advice was given to a man who had taken two children in a dinghy from Charmouth to Seatown.
A motorboat ran aground on Mudeford Spit at 5pm on Sunday, a yacht needed help due to a fishing net wrapped round its propeller and coastguard rescue teams in west Dorset dealt with several issues including a couple in need of medical attention and dog which had been chased over the cliff by a deer.
