COUNCIL officers were due in court this morning to apply for an eviction order against the travellers currently camped at Poole’s Baiter Park.
A Borough of Poole spokesman has told the Daily Echo, all going well, it hopes to have secured the order around lunchtime.
Once an eviction order has been secured, it will be served on the unauthorised encampment - consisting of eight caravans – and the travellers will have 24 hours to leave the site.
