The weather forecast is uncertain for the weekend.
We might be officially in a heatwave. We might get thunder. Who knows, we might even get hailed on.
But here's a selection of things to do across the county this weekend if you do decide to brave the outdoors....
1. Head to Bournemouth Pier for a fiesta
From 7pm tonight in Bournemouth's Lower gardens, join face painters, circus workshops, stilt walkers, fire performances and street performers for a Family Fiesta - and make sure you stick around for the 10pm fireworks display from Bournemouth Pier
Saturday
2. Join a street party in aid of Help for Heroes
Chaos Corner on Ashley Road, Boscombe is hosting a fun day in aid of Help for Heroes. Kings Park Road, next to the shop will be closed from 12 noon to 4 pm to make space for classic cars, bouncy castles, and games. Home owners have given up their gardens for the weekend and will be serving fresh cream teas and BBQ.
3. See a star of the future
Head to Halo, off Bournemouth Square for the AIMCommunityFYT end-of-term show. From 3-5pm, students who have been participating in the SOUND:label Records project funded by Bournemouth and Poole Music Hub will perform tracks from their EPs
4. Check out some scarecrows
Head to Holdenhurst village for the annual summer fair and scarecrow festival (all day) including the popular scarecrow wedding. There's also a celebration of marriage in St John's Church with photos of lots of the couple who have married there.
Sunday
5. Celebrate the history of the union movement
It's the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival with events all weekend with speakers from trade unions and music on Friday and Saturday but Sunday is the day for the main parade, from 1pm to 4pm.
6. Remember the war dead with a day of music
The Band of the Royal British Legion is presenting a Tribute to the Fallen to mark the centenary of the beginning of World War One. The Royal British Legion Band, the Bournemouth Concert Brass, Hyde Band and Bournemouth Youth Marching Band willl put on marching displays and performances throughout the day culminating in a military tattoo style massed band finale at 5.20pm.
7. Get your motor running
Head to the Sammy Miller Museum, at Bashley crossroads, New Milton between 10.30am and 2pm for a bike day featuring classic Italian Motorbikes. World champion motorcyclist Phil Read is taking part.
8. Transform your children's weekend
Optimus Prime will be rolling into Toys R Us at Poole on Sunday to launch a new range of Transformers toys. If you didn't see him at the Air Festival last year, now's your chance!
9. Watch the Dragon Boat Race
Teams will go head-to-head in boats decorated with dragon figureheads when the annual Chinese Dragon Boat Race takes place. The event, which is in aid of Diverse Abilities Plus, takes place on Poole Park lake and will see companies, families and friends battle it out for charity.
