VISITORS to this year’s New Forest Show can still get their hands on discounted tickets until Monday.

There is currently a 10 per cent discount on all visitor tickets to the annual extravaganza but the offer runs out next week.

With a jam-packed schedule, this year’s event at New Park in Brockenhurst on July 29, 30 and 31, looks set to offer something for everyone.

As one of the largest agricultural shows in the country, there will be thousands of horses jumping, showing and performing in the four show rings and hundreds of cattle, sheep and pigs competing in more than 360 classes.

There will also be chickens and smaller animals to interact with in the poultry tent and the show farm.

And biker Jamie Squibb will also be showing off his amazing motorbike skills twice a day in the main ring.

Acclaimed chef, James Durrant, who created the Great British Menu’s winning main course for the St Paul’s 70th anniversary of D-Day, will be preparing the dish on Wednesday July 30 in the cookery demonstration theatre.

Along with James, other chefs making an appearance include Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder from Lime Wood, James Golding from The Pig Hotel and Luke Matthews from the Chewton Glen.

There will also be more than 600 trade stands selling everything from stables and farm machinery to craft items.

And a special craft marquee will show off original paintings, jewellery and clothing along with glassware and shabby chic home accessories.
