BURGLARS smashed a hole in the wall of a Blandford business to steal power tools on Saturday.

The incident, which saw 18 Titan Pro TP5200 18” chain saws, six Titan backpack strimmers, a Toshiba drill, a Toshiba laptop and a Fuji SLR camera were stolen from Titan Pro Ltd in Glenmore Business Park in Wendal Road, took place between 2-3am.

The raiders also made off with nearly £300 in cash after doing an untidy search before leaving the way they entered.

Police Constable Simon Hallam, of Blandford police, said: “It is believed a vehicle, possibly a van, would have been used by the offenders to transport the stolen goods.

“All the items were new, boxed and only sold over the internet by this sole UK distributor. I am keen to hear from anyone who has been offered any similar tools for sale in strange circumstances or for an unusually low price.”

Anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 7:57, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
