IF you can’t make it to Brazil, you could still lift the World Cup by taking part in Bournemouth Hospital Charity’s six-a-side tournament.

It will be held at the Littledown Centre and will mimic the real World Cup with 32 teams representing the countries taking part in Brazil.

Teams of eight (to include two rolling subs) are asked for £20 sponsorship per person and any workplace teams are encouraged to ask their employer to match their sponsorship.

And you won’t miss any of the 2014 World Cup fixtures, as the tournament is taking place on July 20 from 9.30am-4.30pm.

Bournemouth Hospital Charity’s events officer, Barry Wilson, said: “With the World Cup well and truly under way, football is definitely the focus of the nation. We want to recreate this excitement in July and want teams to sign up as soon as possible to make sure they get a place.

“The winning team will be presented with a FIFA World Cup replica trophy which is bound to be the envy of all their competitors.”

To take part, log on to bournemouth hosptialcharity.org.uk, call 01202 704060, email charity@rbch.nhs.uk or visit the charity office in the main atrium at RBH.
