Bournemouth Echo: VIDEO: Fans give predictions for England v Uruguay VIDEO: Fans give predictions for England v Uruguay

ENGLAND fans in Bournemouth have been laying down their predictions for tonight’s big game.

At 8pm this evening the England squad will play their second match of the World Cup tournament against Uruguay.

Tadas Laukevicius said he was confident England will secure a win in tonight’s crucial game.

He said: “I don’t know what the score will be but England will win, of course.”

Peter Baker, from Parkstone, who is celebrating his birthday today, said an England win would be the best present he could ask for.

He predicted England would walk away with a 3-1 win.

“It would definitely make it a happier birthday,” he said.

The 32-year-old added: “I think this World Cup has been a very exciting World Cup.

“I think it brings everyone together when England are playing so that is why I want them to do well in this tournament and carry on.”

We'll be tweeting throughout the game tonight and we'd love to hear your thoughts and see pictures of where you're watching. Just tweet our reporter @SteveSmithEcho to join in.

I bet against England as they are always hopeless. Hope Uruguay keep the lead and send our overrated "team" home and I get my money.

Every player in the England team does not play with passion that is expected.
I wouldn't pay them 300K milk bottle tops per week, let alone pounds .... preserving their existing contracts & pay arrangements.
They are a disgrace to the Queen, country & the population.
Sack the f**king lot..

Playing for your country is an inconvenience to them. The get paid enough so there is no incentive to play well for your country. Hopefully people will look at their deluded beliefs of England being an amazing team.

None of them should get paid for playing for their country, any revenue earned by this bunch through advertising should be donated to charity.

Brilliant! At least by going home now it saves the anguish of watching them play a soulless 0-0 draw and go out on penalties in the knockout stage.
