Man falls 30ft down cliff at Durdle Door and lands on ledge
A MAN fell 30 foot down a cliff at Durdle Door yesterday.
Portland Coastguard received a 999 call at 6.25pm to reports of the fall at the beauty spot.
Teams from Lulworth and Wyke coastguard attended the incident and found that the man had fallen 30 foot down the 100 foot cliff face, landing on a ledge.
The man was quickly rescued by the coastguard and did not require medical attention having only suffered minor cuts and bruises.
