Bloody he'll police directing traffic....when there was chaos on the Spur Road last year apparently it wasn't their job. Hmm picking and choosing their responsibility, just what you'd expect from the police these days

The reason they are directing traffic is because yellow buses go through that route. 1a had to turn around in High Street because his radio not operational. Once they get to the small roundabout they would be stuck!! So in this instance they had to attend. Complete chaos in town - hope they sort and soon.

Good try, but I've seen a yellow bus doing a u-turn at the mini roundabout because the driver forgot it was market day.

does anyone take any notice of these lights anyway ? The amount of cyclists that think they don't have to obey the red lights is too **** high ! I was going over it last Friday on a green & a car was coming over it from the Kings Arms side, I guess they don't know what red means !

lol ,no it wasn't an attempt to have a go at cyclists, I'm one myself & I was actually on my cycle when the car came over on a red. So my apologies if that's how it read .

I cycle this route regularly (yes I do stop when the lights are red) and they have never operated correctly since instillation and are frequently out of phase, it's the only time I've agreed with a bus driver when we were both on green and met on the crest of the bridge one evening.
