THOUSANDS of women, children and pooches dressed in pink crossed the finish line of the Race for Life in Bournemouth this morning.
Held to raise awareness, fundraising and support for Cancer Research, people from across the county tied up their trainers and donned pink vests, hair bands, tutus and more to take on either the 5k or 10k events.
Bournemouth seafront came alive in a sea of pink, as thousands of people warmed up, heard inspirational stories from those who have fought cancer, and shared a moment’s silence for those who had lost their battle.
