CONGESTION has built up this morning in the Poole area after a multi-vehicle accident at Gravel Hill.
The incident happened on the A349 southbound between Queen Anne Drive and Canford Heath Road and involved an articulated lorry, two vans and two cars.
Diversions have been set up from Gravel Hill on to Queen Anne Drive and Arrowsmith Road.
The vehicles involved include a silver Mercedes articulated lorry registered to a company from Essex, a red Mazda panel van registered to a man from Southampton and a white Mercedes panel van registered to a company from Blandford.
Recovery is underway for a red VW Golf registered to a man from Ferndown and a silver Vauxhall Corsa registered to a woman from Norwich.
Police and ambulance are on the scene. There are not believed to be any serious injuries.
