FIVE-year-old Molly Tasker has won the Poole Harbour Commissioners’ photo competition.

The youngster who owns a Nikon camera, took a stunning picture of shells on the beach, and beat youngsters three times her age to snap up the prize.

Poole Harbour Commissioners harbour master, Brian Murphy, presented Molly with an iPad after her photograph won the competition’s under-21 category.

“I love taking photos in Sandbanks, especially of the chain ferry,” said Molly.

“This prize is fantastic and I can’t wait to show everyone in my class.”

PHC and the Daily Echo teamed up to run the competition over two months in winter with four categories, each running for two weeks.

The theme was the harbour through the winter months and keen snappers had the chance to submit their photos of water activities.

There was an under-21s competition, one for professional photographers and a wildlife category.
