AN appeal has gone out to trace two knitters who can help repair Bournemouth’s knitted garden.
The Blooming Marvellous knitted garden was created by 2,000 Bournemouth residents four years ago and was first exhibited at Bournemouth Central Library.
The colourful creation has been touring the UK for the last four years and has just been on show at Gosport, where two of the key components were vandalised.
The two items that now need repairing are a large standard rose bush and a large lime green and yellow sunflower plant with six sunflowers on it.
Anyone who knows who knitted these items can contact Pauline Stanley on 07729 829209.
