FIREFIGHTERS were called to heathland at Studland this evening after what is thought to be an arson attack.
Crews from Swanage were sent to the scene at Ferry Road at around 7pm.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said that the fire involved around 120sqm of undergrowth and heath.
The spokesman added: "The cause was deliberate.
"The Fire Service would encourage any member of the public who sees someone deliberately starting a fire to report it immediately to the police."
