A CHARITY cycle ride around the New Forest in aid of the disabled will take place later this month.
Cycle Together New Forest starts off at King’s Park Athletics Centre in Bournemouth on June 29, and includes 10, 20, 50 and 100-mile routes into the forest and back.
It is being held in aid of Leonard Cheshire Disability, and funds will go to help disabled people living at the charity’s James Burn House care home in Greenways Avenue, Bournemouth.
The charity’s sports events manager Matt Smith said: “If you can’t take part by cycling, there are still other ways you could get involved. As you can imagine, any event like this requires a great deal of work behind the scenes and we need a band of willing volunteers.”
