D-Day veterans invited to take part in special concert in Christchurch
VETERANS of World War Two are invited to a special event in Christchurch.
The Christchurch and District Band will put on a concert, For Queen and Country, at the Regent Centre later this year.
The concert will begin at 7pm on November 2 and organisers are appealing for D-Day veterans to take part in the event.
The Royal British Legion will be running a raffle and all proceeds will go to the Poppy Appeal, with service charities in the foyer.
