Police say a 16-year-old girl who suffered serious head injuries after being involved in a collision with a Land Rover is making a good recovery.

The teenager was flown to Southampton Hospital on Saturday after she was involved in a collision with a silver Freelander on Foxholes Road.

The air ambulance landed at Parkstone Heights.

The collision involved a silver Land Rover Freelander registered to an address in Poole.

Honestly, it is terrible for the girl involved but it is though the DE is on a witch hunt for drivers. It is not as though motorists go around deliberately knocking people off their bikes. Recently, I have been watching cyclists because a lot of them are making the roads dangerous. Last year I saw a cyclist whizz round a busy roundabout the wrong way and was in collision with a car whose driver was driving correctly. Whose fault is that?
