A FUNERAL director has made a “substantial” investment in converting farm buildings at its woodland burial ground.

Tapper Funeral Service says the work has allowed it to offer a full range of services and facilities at its Harbour View Woodland Burial Ground in Lytchett Minster.

It can offer chapels of rest, a service chapel and new offices.

The development means clients can hold the service and burial at the site and return to the barn for refreshments. The interior of the chapel has been decorated to represent the four seasons and uses colour to comp-lement the grounds.

Steven Tapper, joint managing director at Tapper Funeral Service, said: “The new farm buildings will be a worthwhile investment for Harbour View Woodland Burial Ground. The rustic conversion complements the atmospheric tone we have set to create at Harbour View.

“We can now offer families much more control with the arrangements of a funeral.

“They can choose the service they wish for and have the opportunity for the chapel to be personalised to commemorate their loved one.”
