A POOLE-based hospice is inviting Dorset residents to Tie a Yellow Ribbon in the charity’s garden in memory of a loved one.
Forest Holme Hospice Charity asks people to purchase a symbolic yellow ribbon, to be displayed in the garden this month, and will carry the name of the person honoured.
It can be someone who has or has not received care at the hospice, and the event has been organised as part of National Hospice Awareness month.
Hannah Parsons of Forest Holme said: “We would like to thank Tapper Funeral Service for kindly supporting this appeal.
“Tie a Yellow Ribbon is one of the most significant events in our fundraising calendar and is often very emotional yet uplifting.”
To dedicate a ribbon visit the hospice, on Seldown Road, on Thursday, June 19, from 2pm to 4pm. Go to Forestholmehospice.org.uk or call 01202 442558.
