AFC Bournemouth’s Cherry Bear challenged shoppers to take their best shot when he launched a goal-scoring competition at a Poole supermarket.
The football mascot visited the Sainsbury’s supermarket at Talbot Heath to kick-start AFC Bournemouth’s Community Sports Trust power strike tour.
The Community Sports Trust will be testing shoppers’ shooting skills and offering a family ticket to AFC Bournemouth’s first home league game of the forthcoming season to one lucky winner.
The tour will be at various different Sainsbury’s stores, promoting an active lifestyle and healthy eating.
It will be at Poole today and at Christchurch on tomorrow.
There will also be a special visit to Wareham on Saturday, June 7.
Steve Cuss from AFC Bournemouth’s Community Sports Trust, said: “We are really pleased to have the support from Sainsbury’s.
“Leading an active lifestyle and understanding the importance of a balanced diet is just one of the key messages that we promote, so it is great to have the opportunity to share this message across the local Sainsbury’s stores.”
