THERE has been an outbreak of hatching in Poole Park with the arrival of the warmer spring weather.
Families of ducklings, goslings and cygnets are proudly taking to the waters of the lakes, showing off the newest arrivals.
Cars are brought to a halt as trails of goslings scoot across the road and the cute bundles are turning into 'film stars' as they are snapped on countless cameras.
The introduction of the islands in the boating lake has provided the ducks, swans and geese with sheltered areas in which to breed.
And the multiple families of fluffy young are definitely proving to be an added attraction to the popular town centre park.
