THE artist-in-residence at Lighthouse Poole will be holding a creative freedom workshop at a Poole charity next week.

Hazel Evans, pictured, will be encouraging women to learn new ways to relax, de-stress, de-clutter, and live in the moment on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, for event at Lewis-Manning Hospice, on Crichel Mount Road.

She said: “This workshop is about finding your creative passion and unleashing it by allowing freedom of expression through various mediums.”

She went on to say that the workshop will use inks, poetry and music, as well as a guided walk, reflexology, reiki, and meditation, to allow people to harness their creativity.

Lewis-Manning Hospice supports over 650 local residents living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses from its state-of-the-art base in Lilliput.

The two-day programme includes an overnight stay at Lewis-Manning and all meals for a suggested donation of £150. It is open to all women aged 18 and over, with particular focus on those recovering from treatment.
