AROUND 200 bikes defied the iffy weather and arrived on Poole Quay on Tuesday night for the weekly BLD Dream Machines event.

Scott Tree, from Poole, won the Bike of the Night title on his 1928 Indian 101 Scout. The judge for the evening was Cllr Xena Dion, who chose the bike because of the care and diligence in keeping its original features.

Scott bought the bike last year and restored it over the winter. He said: “I want to keep the bike and enjoy it.”

Paul rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off, plus a Bike of the Night mug.

He will also be invited to take part in the Bike of the Year finale at the end of the season, with cash prizes on offer for the top three places.

Season wristbands are still on sale at the quay Welcome Centre for £7.50, or pay £1 entry for each event.
